Oldcastle® APG has named Joey Peters as senior brand manager of decking, as he transitions over the next few months from his role as senior masonry brand manager, Echelon Masonry, where he served for three years. He will manage the MoistureShield™ brand along with Josh Landis, who has been MoistureShield’s senior product manager since June 2017.
Peters has 14 years of experience dedicated to marketing, building materials in both the consumer and commercial sectors. Peters’ experience as a reporter and later as director of client services in home improvement/building materials for ad and PR firm Kleber and Associates, evolved into an integrated marketing strategy which he will apply to MoistureShield.
“An integrated, holistic approach to marketing helped us launch the Echelon brand of masonry under Oldcastle APG,” Peters said. “We will apply the principles of brand elevation with our partner agencies to MoistureShield capped composite decking through advertising, PR, social media, and digital outreach, to share its technology achievements, performance, and aesthetics.”
