The Board of Directors of Carlisle® Companies Incorporated has announced the appointment of Nick Shears as president of Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), effective immediately.  Shears was appointed interim president of CCM in September 2018.  Prior to that, he held a series of important leadership roles at CCM throughout his 34 years with Carlisle, including executive vice president of sales and marketing.  Shears holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from Penn State University.

         Additionally, Brett Steinberg has been promoted to general manager of Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing, Inc.  He is responsible for the company’s brand strategy, as well as the development of sales and marketing channels for Carlisle’s traditional waterproofing products, including the below-grade market, air and vapor barriers, and other building envelope solutions.  In his new position he also oversees sales, marketing, technical services, and customer service.  Based in Wylie, Texas, Steinberg joined Carlisle as Eastern states sales manager in 2018.  Previously, he was with Kemper System America for ten years, where he served as national sales manager.  He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communications from Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey.
