The National Fenestration Rating Council® (NFRC), through its Leaders Network, has presented its new podcast Through the Glass: Conversations with Leaders in Windows, Doors, and Skylights. Join host Michael Williams as he discusses all things leadership with professionals in fenestration, green building, testing labs, and architecture. These experts share experiences and lessons learned throughout their careers, and what makes them strong leaders today.
This podcast series also discusses industry trends, including what’s on the horizon and how leaders can navigate their organizations through tough and smooth situations. Listeners are encouraged to submit questions to the interviewees.
In the first Through the Glass, NFRC CEO Deb Callahan talks about her journey to lead a nonprofit organization, the inherent challenges within a highly technical organization, and undergoing a strategic realignment. Following Callahan, Through the Glass hears from Jeff Baker, a long-time member of NFRC from Canada, who shares his leadership style as a volunteer as well as a certified simulator of fenestration products and where he sees growth opportunities in the next five to ten years.
Wrapping up the first series of podcasts, NFRC Board of Directors chairman, John Gordon, and vice chairman Tony Cinnamon talk about working together as a team and with NFRC’s CEO to motivate members toward a common goal.
