Ware Malcomb, an international design firm, has announced new leadership positions in its Houston, Texas, and Pleasanton, California, offices.  Chris Royster has joined the firm as regional director to lead the Houston office.  In this role, Royster is responsible for the overall growth and management of the Houston office.  As a practicing architect in the Houston area for over 20 years, Royster brings a significant depth of experience to his new role at Ware Malcomb.  He has worked on a wide variety of project types including office, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, education, interiors, and renovation.  His experience spans all aspects of architecture including master planning, programming, design, project management, documentation, and construction assessment.  Royster holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Houston. 

         Carrick Boshart has joined the firm as director, architecture, in the Pleasanton office.  Boshart joins Ware Malcomb with over 20 years of architecture and construction experience.  Boshart brings experience leading a wide range of project management teams with an emphasis on operations.  He has overseen planning, design, budgeting, and construction for a variety of complex architectural projects including cost estimating, financial and budget management, business development, project scheduling, sustainability, operational efficiency, construction, competitive bidding, and building code compliance.  A licensed architect in California, Boshart holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.  

         Ware Malcomb has also announced Lynne Orlowski has been promoted to studio manager, interior architecture and design in the Phoenix, Arizona, office.  In this role, Orlowski leads and manages the office’s Interior Architecture and Design Studio and select projects.  Orlowski brings ten years of in-depth interior architectural design knowledge to the Ware Malcomb team, contributing strong design influence, team leadership, and commitment to client service.  She joined Ware Malcomb in 2015 as a job captain and was quickly promoted to project manager.  Orlowski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in design, interior design from Arizona State University.  She also holds the National Council for Interior Design Qualification certification.

         Ware Malcomb has also announced an expanded leadership role for Jim Terry as principal of the Pleasanton, California, office.  In this new role, Terry takes on responsibility for the overall leadership, management, and growth of the firm’s Pleasanton office.  Terry brings over 35 years of architectural, design, and management experience to his new position.  He joined Ware Malcomb in 2003 as a project manager in Denver, Colorado, relocated with the firm to Northern California in 2004, and a year later was promoted to director, commercial architecture.  In 2015, Terry was promoted to principal, commercial architecture in the firm’s Pleasanton office.  In this role, Terry joined the firm’s senior leadership team in addition to overseeing all commercial architecture projects in Northern California.  During his tenure, he has managed a variety of master planning, industrial, and commercial office projects for the firm.  He is a graduate of the Phoenix Institute of Technology, where he received his degree in architecture.
