Altenloh, Brinck, and Co. US, Inc., (ABC US), manufacturers of SPAX® engineered fasteners, has announced that Josh Martin has been promoted to national sales manager, lumber channel, and Jeremiah Windle has joined the company as a regional sales manager, lumber and building materials.
In his new role, Martin will lead the company’s sales function for the important lumberyard channel. He is charged with creating channel specific programs for LBM dealers and distributors, as well as training and growing the LBM sales team focusing on the more than 42,000 lumberyards in the United States. Windle will report to Martin and is responsible for covering Florida and the surrounding states. Windle has more than 19 years’ experience developing relationships, securing partnerships, and servicing accounts.
“The entire management team is excited to see how Martin and his new team will grow the lumber channel for our brands,” said Jim Winn, president of the SPAX brand. “The SPAX brand got its start in the United States in the early 1990s by doing business with smaller distributors and lumberyards. With SPAX engineered fasteners positioned for exponential growth this year, we remain focused on our roots and our commitment to this important channel.”
ABC US has also announced that Tim Hogrefe has joined the company as quality manager. Robert Yates has accepted the position of associate product manager and will transition out of his role as acting quality engineer over the next few months. Hogrefe will be responsible for setting a quality strategy, executing plans and initiatives that drive a culture of quality, and leading and developing his team.
“Quality is a critical role for our organization and we’re thrilled to have someone of Hogrefe’s caliber joining us,” said Allyn Luce, vice president of manufacturing. “Likewise, we appreciate his contributions to our superior quality processes and we look forward to the difference he will make on the product management team.”
ABC US is proud to manufacture and distribute engineered fasteners under the SPAX brand name for the construction market, the TRUFAST® brand for the commercial roofing industry, and the TRUFAST WALLS® brand for exterior building envelopes and façades.
