Board of Directors
The AIA Los Angeles (AIALA) is honored to announce the newly elected and/or current board members assuming new roles on the 2023 AIALA Board of Directors. AIALA thanks the many accomplished Los Angeles, California, members who ran for election. The AIALA is incredibly fortunate to have a wealth of members interested in advancing the chapter and the profession.
Current board members taking on new roles are: 2023 AIALA president, Leslie Sydnor, AIA; vice president/president-elect, Annette Wu, AIA; past president, Mitra Memari, AIA; and associate director, Miranda Gardiner, Assoc. AIA. Newly elected board members are: treasurer, Toni Lewis, AIA; director, David J. Frey, FAIA, LEED® AP BD+C, DBIA; director, Jennifer Noel Wong, AIA; ex-officio associate director, Morgan Sumner, Assoc. AIA; and AIA California representative, John Arnold, AIA. Newly appointed board members are: public director, Tara Barauskas, and academic Liaison, ex officio, Heather Barker.
