The color of the product’s solid, fire-retardant core, developed exclusively to meet fire-performance requirements, has been updated to gray from its original shade of white. This product design enhancement was achieved through modifications to the formulation that allows for greater design flexibility while still maintaining the product’s superior fire performance rating.
ALUCOBOND PLUS is a differentiator in the marketplace because it fulfills design and performance requirements while maintaining its fire-retardant properties. ALUCOBOND PLUS, now with a gray core meets the highest level of fire performance, provides ease of fabrication, delivers a beautifully uniform look, reduces shadow lines, and serves as a UV inhibitor.
ALUCOBOND PLUS with gray core reduces visibility of the product’s core, allowing it to blend in flawlessly, creating even more opportunities to customize and transform the façade of any building through perforated designs that allow natural light and enable enhanced aesthetic possibilities. In addition, the gray core provides a nearly seamless aesthetic with the use of ALUCOBOND EasyFix™.
