Horton Automatics’ latest innovation will change the way that automatic sliding doors are specified. With available ECO option, the Horton ProSlide® Series 2021 System is engineered to provide long life and quiet operation for the most demanding commercial applications, along with attractive sightlines and a variety of finishes to complement any design.
The ProSlide’s heavy-duty drivetrain is tested to one million cycles and comes with a standard two-year limited warranty. Further adding to its durability is its sturdy commercial-grade operator, capable of handling panels up to 300 lbs. The system’s 4.5” jambs virtually vanish in standard storefronts for enhanced aesthetic appeal.
The ProSlide system features an exclusive adjustable astragal with a double weatherseal in the lead rail of the sliding door panel for optimal condensation, air infiltration, U-values, and improved energy efficiency. The ProSlide Series 2021 can also be specified as an Energy Product Declaration-compliant system to help achieve LEED® certification.
Adding to the system’s design flexibility, the ProSlide Series 2021 Sliding Door System can be specified as ISO 3 or ISO 5 cleanroom doors without the need for vacuum systems. The ProSlide comes standard with a three-piece full-length threshold that saves installation time. An optional Uninterruptible Power Supply is offered to support automatic operation in the absence of power, and manual operation is always possible.
Unlimited finishes and custom options such as a transoms; horizontal rails; narrow, medium, and wide stile construction; and glass stops for ¼” to 1” glazing provide architects with a vast array of design options. The ProSlide Series 2021 is a direct replacement of the now retired Horton Series 2003 system.
