The Architect’s Experience
When you attend the only global event dedicated to the use of metal in design and construction, you get so much more than a “show-within-a-show” with tailored educational sessions that will expand your knowledge. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with the engineers who evaluate your decisions, the contractors who execute your designs, and the installers who put up your materials.
The result is an immersive experience that will help you design more resilient, energy-efficient buildings while discovering materials, techniques, and technologies that will inspire your creativity like nothing else.
Here are just a few of the things METALCON has planned for this year’s Architect’s Experience:
Designing Outside the Box
How do you create aesthetically beautiful buildings while delivering functional performance and sustainability, promoting occupant health, and achieving energy efficiency goals, all while minimizing consumption of materials and difficult to replace resources?
Find out at this enlightening session that will help you make sustainable building material choices and help you select the best sustainability certification for your project goals and outcomes.
Allegiant Stadium Case Study
At 1.8 million square feet, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas combines steel, glass and concrete to breathtaking effect and functionality. Featuring a translucent roof that shields players and spectators from the hot desert sun while maintaining the feel of an open-air stadium and movable walls that open to reveal spectacular views of the Las Vegas strip, Allegiant Stadium is a shining example of metal’s versatility in architecture. We are still determining who will present the case study and hope to include a tour of the facility for all Architect’s Experience attendees.
The Risks and Rewards of Working On Unique Projects
