Hall of Fame Inductee
DAHLIN Architecture | Planning | Interiors has proudly announced its president and CEO, Nancy Keenan, has been inducted into the California Housing Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Keenan, alongside four other elite industry leaders, was celebrated for her lifetime achievements and dedication to creating solutions for the state’s housing needs in areas such as innovative placemaking, workforce and affordable housing, architectural design and land planning, and economic development at the 37th Annual Hall of Fame Gala in June in San Francisco, California.
Since 1985, the California Homebuilding Foundation has annually honored outstanding individuals who exemplify leadership, innovation, and philanthropy in the homebuilding industry. Each inductee is a trailblazer in their chosen field and is passionately dedicated to continuing the California Homebuilding Foundation’s mission of forging a bright future for the building workforce of the next generation.
“I am sincerely honored by an induction into the California Homebuilding Foundation Hall of Fame. It is incredibly humbling to join an enduring legacy of people who have given so much of themselves to develop thriving communities and exceptional homes,” said Keenan.
As president and CEO of DAHLIN, Keenan is passionate about finding thoughtful, creative ways to infuse the soul of design and livability into residential projects while also addressing the realities of elusive housing attainability and a challenging entitlement environment. With an empathetic and collaborative leadership style, Keenan steers the growth strategy, including design adaptation and innovation, technology, and sustainability of the global architecture and planning firm. Under her leadership, the firm became an ESOP, empowering its team as employee-owners and increasing transparency in business operations with an emphasis on continuous professional development.
